It means Welcome to Solo The Spirit of Java. Much of you maybe thinking, Why spirit of Java ? Well, Because on Solo / Surakarta usually have a lot tradition and culture.. Have a lot. And also in solo still have A Kingdom tradition. Long time ago, Solo is the capital place of Central Java, Because inside of the kingdon have many different opinion, this kingdom divided become 2. the other kingdom places on Yogyakarta. But on this time, we will not talking about Yogyakarta. Next time i will make for you. Ok, Back to topics. The main Remember characteristics that Foreign people already go to here is people here on Solo. People in here is really friendly and have good attitude. If you for example get lost on here. You can ask to people that you meet on street. They will solve your trouble. This place on 2013 if not wrong, Become the winner as the best Clean city in Southeast Asia Region, Isn't Cool ? So, Don't worry about the environment or trash... On here.. you willn't find it. Okay, Let's go find out about the number one places in Solo. Check this one out !

1. Kraton Surakarta

The first and Extraordinary place for around the Foreign tourist that visit to Solo, is Keraton Surakarta (Kraton Surakarta). Make sure you take a visit to Solo. This place is one of Historical Places in solo. Build on 1745 by Paku Buwono II ( He is known as King at that time ). You will see a lot of weapons, Kingdom stretcher, and another historical stuff, when this kingdom still be the Victorious kingdom.. a long long time ago. You also can study about the order of the king, from Kingdom bulit ( The first King ) until at this time ( Until here the King still, but the function or his order only around the Kraton. Kraton itself is open for public everyday except friday. From 08.30 AM until 02.00 PM. Special for Sunday. Open at 08.30 AM until 01.00 PM ( Time is depend on Standard Indonesian Local Time ). Shorts is not allowed for entry the Kraton. So, if you want to entry, You can rent fabric subordinate on start place. For Enter the Kraton you must pay Rp 4.000 or 0.04 US$ and If you bring Camera, You must pay again Rp 2.000 or 0.02 US$.

2. Kraton Mangkunegaran

The second place. We still talking about Kraton. One of the most historical place in Solo. Located on Banjarsari District, Solo. This Kraton itself was build by Raden Mas Said or more known as Samber Nyawa Prince at 1757. This place is also have a lot Historical things, Like books, masks, until Weapons. All things about Historical place that leave by prince.. All of it, available here. So, Take a visit to here guys. Kraton Mangkunegaran opens for Public everyday at 09.00 AM until 02.00 PM except friday. Friday opens for puvlic at 09.00 AM until 12.01 PM. 

3. Kauman Batik Village 

Looking for some souvenir ? It's the right place for you to go, More than 20 Home factory making batik everyday. This place become Tourist hunt from local until foreign that want to bring some souvenir. On this place you can choose a lot of type of batik and this is the cool stuff. You also can create your OWN batik. Nice, don't you ? This Batik Characteristics is also unique. Batik from Kauman Batik Village have Motif more darker than other Batik around Solo. And the last unique from this village is.. you can look traditional house from solo and around solo. Like Joglo, Limasan and also Colonial building when The Dutch Invaders come here at 1900. Really Corious ? Try to Visit then. Haha..

4. Triwindu Antique Market
Searching for Antique stuff on Solo for your Souvenir ? Don't Worry. Triwindu Antique Market is the right choice for you. More than 10.000 Antique stuff is here. A lot of tourists from Local and Foreign country love this place. Because a lot antique stuff. I can't tell you a lot about this, if you want to know and prove a lot about this. Try to visit guys.. haha

5. Klewer Market
The last is Klewer Market. After fire in January 2015. Klewer Market forced to move. But, moving this Klewer Market is not far from original places. You can buy a lot and various Batik from all places in Central Java. You also can buy the fabric only on this market. This market is Iconic, all people from local until foreign like to come and some buy from here as Special Souvenir for their family. on the top on the screen, it's Klewer market before fire. And on image below is the condition of Klewer Market after Fire. But, Don't Worry. You still can buy and visit this market. Just ask people there. People there will tell you the location.
